Spring 2025 FJAR Lab Research Assistant Sheelan Qader successfully completed her Master Degree in Environmental Policy and Sustainability Management (EPSM) this May. 

Her thesis focused on “Kurdish Resistance to Border-Imposed Agricultural Land Dispossession and Commodification.” This was a transmedia project exploring two centuries of Kurdish agricultural land dispossession and resistance, through a research paper, historical timeline, and short documentary.
